Police respond to two parking lot accidents

Decorah Police responded to two parking lot traffic accidents on Thursday.

At 11:30 a.m. they were called to the Decorah Mart at 303 College Drive after 27-year-old Urvashi Patel of Decorah backed up into a parked car owned by 25-year-old Ehler Orngaro of Pilot Mound.  The accident caused $1,500 in damages.

At 4:00 p.m. police were called to the Quillin's parking lot.  69-year-old Patricia Backes of Decorah turned into the path of a car driven by 22-year-old ASlbert Emery of Decorah.  The accident caused $4,400 in damages.

Neither accident resulted in injuries or traffic citations.
