It will cost over $42,000 to attend Luther College next fall

The Luther College Board of Regents has approved setting the 2012-2013 comprehensive fee at $42,170.

The figure represents a 3.91 percent increase over the current school year's comprehensive fee of $40,585.  Of that amount, tuition costs $34,735, room costs $2,780 and board $3,070.

However, the college's website notes that there are other costs that students will incur--over $1,000 to buy books, $150 for a mandatory technology fee and $190 for an optional co-curricular activity fee.  Adding those costs to next year's comprehensive fee would put the price tag of one year at Luther at $43,550 (before financial aid)
