A Lawler woman, Natalie Busta, knows just how important a "security blanket" can be.
When her mother, Sue Busta, who is a registered nurse in the WMC Same Day Services Department, told Natalie that large blankets had been donated for older or adult patients, but no blankets were available for children, Natalie leaped into action. In a span of 10 days, Natalie made 18 blankets for the pediatric patients in the Winneshiek Medical Center Same Day Services Department.
Said Natalie's mother, Sue: "We make every effort to create a comfortable and relaxing experience for the children and their families--the blankets help."
