Luther College professor named to sustainability association's board

Luther College professor of philosophy and environmental studies Jon Jensen has been named to the board of directors of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education.

AASHE is a leading non-profit organization in the transformation of colleges and universities to environmentally sustainable campuses and operations. 

Said Jensen, "The work of AASHE is based on a vision of a prosperous, equitable, and ecologically healthy world and the assumption that higher education must play a leading role in achieving that vision."

Jensen has served on the college's faculty 10 years.  He is a leader of Luther's sustainability initiatives and projects.  Jensen holds the master's degree and doctoral degree from the University of Colorado.
