Decorah skating rink is now open

Decorah's Wayside Ice Skating Rink is now open to the public.

The rink is located in Carl Selland Wayside Park, at the intersection of College Drive and 5th Avenue.  Warm temperatures had kept the skating rink from opening, but now with colder temperatures it opened to the public as of Wednesday.

The warming house at the skating rink will be open to the public Mondays through Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; Fridays from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The warming house will open at 1:00 p.m.  on weekdays when there is no school.
