Winneshiek CountY officials are observing National Mentoring Month

January is National Mentoring Month.

The local mentoring program is operated by Helping Services for Northeast Iowa.  Mentors spend four or five hours each month for a year with an area youth. There are also organized events with other mentors and youths.
