Students at NICC Calmar's Rockefeller Alternative High School Program are now using a new financial literacy software program, thanks to Decorah Bank & Trust Company.
The bank is covering the expenses for the software for three years, meaning neither the students nor NICC have to pay. The bank also sponsors the program for Decorah High School, South Winneshiek High School, Turkey Valley and Crestwood High School.
The software covers a variety of financial topics that young people should be learning, including budgeting, learning how to save money, information about credit cards and credit scores, and student loan requirements.
