T-Bock's fundraiser raised money for Ethiopian water project

 A recent fundraiser at T-Bock's Sports Bar and Grill for ImpactNow (iimpactnow.org), helped them raise money to purchase irrigation equipment to send to a farming cooperative in Ethiopia.  Draught is a problem in that country, and although water sources are not scarce, a means of supplying water to farmland is almost nearly impossible without proper irrigation methods, which are very hard to come by.

The fundraiser was held on Nov. 29, from 5-9pm, and a portion of the proceeds from the evening's sales were donated to the organization.  They also orchestrated an evening full of musical entertainment, by various groups of Luther College students, and several video presentations explaining what their organization is all about.  They had several members of I-ImpactNow on hand selling t-shirts and bracelets, two beautiful pieces of artwork were auctioned, and donations were accepted, as well.  The event raised over $1000!
