Michele Bachmann visits Decorah Monday

Michele Bachmann signs a book for Decorah resident Howard Paskach

Republican presidential candidate Michelle Bachmann made a brief stop in Decorah Monday afternoon as part of her tour of all 99 of Iowa's counties.

Bachmann signed books at the Dragonfly bookstore and greeted supporters.  In brief remarks at the end of her appearance, Bachmann mentioned that she was born in Waterloo and that her mother attended Luther College in 1949 and 1950.  Bachmann asked the 75 people attending the event to caucus for her January 3rd, saying her campaign has been "zooming up the charts" since the last debate.
