Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry to visit Decorah Sunday

Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry will visit Decorah on Sunday, according to a report in the Des Moines Register.

Perry's Des Moines campaign offices could not confirm the appearance when contacted by decorahnews.com.  However, the Perry campaign has stated that Perry plans a two week long bus tour throughout Iowa.

The tentative schedule posted by the Des Moines Register shows Perry making appearances in Charles City and New Hampton before visiting Decorah on Sunday.  The Decorah appearance will be the final Sunday appearance for Perry, who is scheduled to visit Elkader and Manchester on Monday after leaving Decorah.
