Last month Digital Dog Pound announced that it would be closing its Decorah video rental store. The store had been profitable, but its owner felt they needed to close three of the five stores it was operating.
Now the manager of the Decorah store, Dave Donaldson, has announced that he and his wife Heather will keep the store open, although they will be moving it to 915 Short Street, in between Quillin's and Anytime Fitness.
Says Donaldson, "Our regular customers will recongnize many features of the current store, but we will do a number of things differently, including a bigger emphasis on video games, game trading, and we will have a small section of baseball cards and jewelry."
Donaldson says once the current location closes, the inventory will be moved to the new store location. He says the store will reopen in time for the Christmas holiday.
