Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce again offering Chamber Dollars

The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce is again operating its Chamber Dollars program this holiday season.

Chamber Dollars can be used like gift certificates at all Chamber of Commerce members, which include nearly 400 gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants, retailers and local services.

Chamber Dollars can be purchased at the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce Offices at 507 W. Water Street.  Chamber officials are urging people to pre-order Chamber Dollars, especially for any amounts over $100, by calling their office at (563) 382-3990.  Since the Chamber Dollar program is a dollar-for-dollar exchange, credit cards cannot be accepted for the purchase of Chamber Dollars.

The Chamber of Commerce will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday until Christmas, in part to help handle Chamber Dollars.
