NICC Board member is resigning

One of the members of the Northeast Iowa Community College Board of Trustees is resigning.  Tobin Britt of West Union has submitted his resignation, effective December 31st.

A committee of the trustees will seek individuals interested in fulfilling the remainder of Britt's term, which ends in September of 2013.  Persons interested in the appointment must be residents of District 1, which includes the school districts of Riceville, New Hampton, Fredericksburg, North Fayette, Valley, and West Central.  

Anyone interested in the position should contact the NICC Board Secretary, Janet Bullerman, at 800-728-2256, extension 206 by Wednesday, December 12th.  Interviews with potential candidates are planned for the week of December 20th.  An appointment is expected to be made at the January 16th NICC Board meeting.
