The Spectrum Network is currently displaying a needlepoint exhibit, titled "Angels Deck the Walls," by local artists Norma Hacker and Betsy Imhoff.
The exhibit will be on display through Friday. A reception to meet the artists will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday.
Norma Hacker and Betsy Imhoff are self-taught artists in all forms of needle art. They use metallic threads and various sizes of beads to add dimension to their needlepoint art. Hacker attended Luther College and Drake University earning degrees in education. Imhoff, Hacker's daughter, attended Luther College and earned her degree in English. Imhoff has been with The Spectrum Network for over 10 years.
Luther College professor Kate Martinson curated the exhibit, which is on display at 607 Washington Street, Decorah. The building is wheelchair accessible. For more information, call 563-382-8401 or visit www.thespectrumnetwork.org.
