Caretakers Coalition is applying for "Most Endangered" status for the Caretaker's House

The Caretakers Coalition is submitting an application to have the Caretaker's House declared "One of Iowa's Most Endangered Buildings."

Coalition spokesperson Deborah Bishop told county supervisors Monday that the application must be submitted by Wednesday.  The Caretaker's House had been scheduled for "deconstruction," but the NICC class that would handle the project as part of its class was cancelled due to lack of registration.
