Calmar traffic accident claims second life

The Rochester Post-Bulletin is reporting that 19-year-old Kristin Easley of Preston has died from a November 2nd truck rollover crash near Calmar.

Easley died Friday at Saint Mary's Hospital, according to the Thauwald Funeral Home in Preston.

She is the second fatality from the crash.  18-year-old Joshua Evers of Rochester died at the scene of the accident.  The Iowa State Patrol says 18-year-old Brenden Christensen lost control of his truck on a curve on 245th Avenue.  The truck ran into a ditch, overturned and ended up on its passenger side.

Christensen and other passengers were Injured in the crash, but those injuries are not life-threatening.
