Decorah to be recognized as part of Iowa Great Places program

Six Iowa communities–including Decorah--will be recognized at a reception in Mason City November 21st to mark their "graduation" from the Iowa Great Places program.

Decorah and the other five communities are completing their three years as formal partners with the state in the Great Places program, but they will continue to hold the Iowa Great Places designation. Iowa's Great Places program help to combine state resources such as grants or technical advice with local assets to make communities, neighborhoods, districts and regions great places where people want to live, work and raise a family.
