"Occupy Decorah" attracts around 50 people

"Occupy Decorah" held a protest in front of the Winneshiek County Courthouse on Saturday afternoon.  About 50 people attended the event.

Organizer Nikki Harris said, "I did not expect this large of a crowd."  She thanked Reverend Mike Blevins for helping to get out the word.

Harris told the gathering she hoped the Decorah group could support the larger Occupy movement.

After hearing some speecvhes, the Occupy Decorah group held a march.
