High School renovation and construction continues to progress

New office and entrance area taking shape

Superintendent Mike Haluska is pleased with the work and progress being done on the Decorah Senior High School. Pictures here, taken on November 3, include the media center that is now in use with a bank of computers and other equipment, but still waiting on some furniture pieces for completion of the center.This will include a large reading area.

The woodshop area now has roofing in place and access from other shop areas. Construction crews are working on the frame of the new office and entrance area on the south side of the building. Additional crews are working on the roof supports for the new gymnasium on the northwest side of the high school.
