NICC Wilder Building remodeling set to go

The NICC Board of Trustees has taken a step towards beginning the remodeling of the Wilder Building on the Calmar campus.

The board has approved a proposal from Upper Explorerland Regional Planning Commission to administer the federal Economic Development Administration grant awarded to NICC for renovation of the Wilder Cente. The building, when completed, will house economic development, continuing education, computer information systems, marketing, print shop and distance learning staff members and will provide a business and training center with conference space for 200+ participants.

Renovation is expected to begin in March.
