Supervisors receive petition calling for restoration of the Caretakers House

Winneshiek County supervisors have been presented with a petition with 67 signatures calling for the restoration of the Caretaker's House.

Currently an NICC class is scheduled for Monday, October 31st, through Friday, November 11th. that will use the building to help teach the principles of green deconstruction of a building.

Caretakers Coalition President Deborah Bishop and others from her group met Monday with the County Board to urge supervisors to turn the class into a Green Restoration Class instead.
