Three groups of Decorah High School freshmen have helped clean up local parks.

The students picked up trash in Van Peenan and Palisades parks and did a river clean-up from behind the high school to the bridge by the Bruening Rock Products shop.

The students found an amazing amount of garbage--when they were done, they had four truckloads of garbage ready to be picked up.

Some of the garbage that was collected
