A crowd of several hundred people gathered outside of Vesterheim Museum on Thursday afternoon to get a glimpse of the King and Queen of Norway.
While waiting, they were entertained by Decorah's Nordic Dancers, performing on the street near Vesterheim, which had been blocked off.
King Harald and Queen Sonja arrived on time and waved to the crowd. They entered the museum, but people again got a chance to see the royals after the tour of the museum was completed and they came out the back of the museum to the Open Air Division.
