NEICAC Transit System Administrator Monica Roderick and NEICAC Housing Property Manager Daniel Michels have both attained the "Certified Community Action Professional" national designation.
The path to this certification includes a detailed review of an individual's documented education and experience as it relates to management and leadership, and to an individual's ability to publish a body of work that meets multiple criteria and finally a 3-hour written examination that tests the individual's knowledge of community action, finance and budgeting and complex real world problem solving.
Last year NEICAC was recognized at the national Community Action Partnership training conference as the only one of over 1,000 community action agencies nationally whose entire management team had attained the Certified Community Action Professional designation.
