Tickets are on sale starting Monday for the New Minowa Players' production of "Two Stories of the Gold Buckskin Whincher."  The production is an original play based on two of Carl Sandburg's famous children's stories.  While no one will be able to find a dictionary definition of a "whincher,"  it is clear that the whincher represents a token of luck that affects the main characters in both stories.

The play will be performed Thursday, Friday and Saturday, October 20th, 21st and 22nd at 7:00 p.m. all three days; at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22nd; and at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, October 23rd.  Performances will be held at the New Minowa Players Theatre at 906 South Mill Street in Decorah.

Tickets can be purchased at Oneota Co-op and Ladybug Landscapes in Decorah.  Prices are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.
All seats are general admission, and seating is limited.  It is highly recommended to purchase tickets in advance.
