Nordic Fest Board looking for 2012 Fest theme

The Nordic Fest Board of Directors is asking the community for suggestions for theme ideas for the fest.  This year's theme, for instance, was "Take a Liking to a Viking."

Organizers say the theme suggestions need to easily translate into brochures, buttons, parade entries, window displays and other forms of promotions for the fest. It is also essential that the theme portrays the essence of Nordic Fest and is appealing to the public.

Theme ideas must be submitted in writing and can be mailed to Nordic Fest, P.O. Box 364, Decorah, IA 52101 or dropped off at the Chamber of Commerce office, 507 W. Water St., Decorah.  Submissions must be received by this Saturday, October 10th.
