Decorah bald eagle "D1" apparently has found a home it likes.

The latest GPS information shows D1 is 5.7miles northeast of Yellow Lake near Gull Lake.  She has been hanging out with both immature and adult eagles in the area.

Raptor Resource Project director Bob Anderson says he has been surprised by D1's travels.  "Some of us thought she may go to a nearby livestock farm but, for her to head to northern Minnesota and Wisconsin was most interesting."
