Tuesday lecture will discuss comics

The director of print technology services at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Tyler Page, will give a lecture on comics at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Drawing Studio of the Luther College Center for the Arts.
 
Page has been developing comics and illustrations professionally for nearly 15 years. He has been nominated for an Eisner award, and garnered praise from Entertainment Weekly, The Onion AV Club, Publisher's Weekly, School Library Journal, and Booklist, among many others. In 2007 he was a recipient of a Xeric Foundation grant to publish the first volume of his comic "Nothing Better."

Page is currently working on the third volume of "Nothing Better," has started a graphic novel memoir about growing up with ADD called "Raised on Ritalin," and is working on the fourth book for the Chicagoland Detective Agency series for Lerner Publishing/Graphic Universe.
