Burning ban has ended

The State Fire Marshal has lifted the burn ban for Winneshiek County.  

This does not decrease the chance of uncontrolled fires.  It will allow residents of Winneshiek County to perform open burning according to local city and county codes and regulations.  

Please check with your city or county government if you have questions of what and when you can burn.
