NICC to offer boiler maintenance class

NICC Calmar is offering a Boiler Maintenance Technician class starting November 1st and running through December 6th.  The class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in room 101 of the NICC Calmar Wilder Center.

Instructor Luke Wolfs will teach all facets of steam boiler operation maintenance and trouble shooting.  Topics covered include common boiler auxiliaries and operation techniques as well as the safety and efficiency of operation. Participants must have a current Boiler Operator I certificate and bring a hand calculator to each session.  

Class does not meet on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24th. The registration fee for Boiler Maintenance Technician includes the textbook, workbook and exam.
