Sheriff's Department is investigating suspicious activity around children

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department is asking the public for any information it might have about a man who stopped his car to take pictures of young children in Bloomfield Township on Tuesday.

Three young children under the age of seven were playing in the yard of the hoke on 130th Avenue when a red sedan with shiny tire rims turned back.  A white male between the ages of 20 to 40 stopped in the roadway and took a photograph of the children.

The man was described as having a dark goatee and mustache and wearing sunglasses and a baseball hat that was turned backwards.  He did not attempt to speak to the children.
