Gundersen Lutheran Health Plan will begin offering its Medicare Advantage insurance to Northeast Iowa residents on January 1st. When it does, it will have an award to brag about: The National Committee for Quality Assurance has ranked the plan as one of the top five plans out of 385 other Medicare Plans nationally.
To determine their rankings, the NCQA assessed health plan performance related to consumer experience, prevention and treatment.
NCQA is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to improving healthcare quality. NCQA accredits and certifies a wide range of healthcare organizations.
