North Winn School Board approves early retirement plan

The North Winneshiek School Board on Monday night approved an early retirement plan for qualified teachers.  

The plan includes the option of $25,000 towards health insurance or a $25,000 cash option.  Teachers have until Thursday, October 6th, to announce their retirement and apply for the early retirement plan.  

School district officials say the retirement plan will create "an orderly means of attrition of employees" which at the same time "recognizes employees who have provided many years of service to the District."
