Winneshiek County Recorder Office's "Passport Day" was a success

The Winneshiek County Recorder's Office says it processed 43 passports and took 53 passport photos during its special hours on Saturday.

The office was open Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. for Passport Day in the USA. 

Says Recorder Teresa Bockman, "Our office would like to thank every-one who came and made our 1st Passport Day a huge success."  Adds Bockman, "This is just one of the ways we are striving to improve our customer service to the community." 

The Recorder's Office will still take passport photos and process passport applications Monday thru Friday during our normal 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. office hours.
