Two motorcycle riders were injured Saturday afternoon in accidents on Locust Road.
Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies say Dominic Condon of Waseca, Minnesota was driving his motorcycle south on Locust Road around 3:30 p.m. when he lost control on a curve. Condon tried to pull his motorcycle back onto the roadway, but lost control and was thrown off the bike, skidding along the pavement and onto the east shoulder.
A second motorcycle driver, Nick Ambroz, was behind Condon. When Condon's motorcyle went out of control, Ambroz tried to avoid the cycle, but also lost control and was thrown onto the east shoulder.
Both drivers were taken by ambulance to Winneshiek Medical Center. Neither motorcycle driver was wearing a helmet. Ambroz was later released from Winneshiek Medical Center with minor injuries. Condon's condition is not immediately known, but his injuries appeared to be non-life threatening.
