Food from Decorah is on its way to Nambia, South Africa

Over 25,000 rice-based meals packed in Decorah by volunteers for the chairyt "Feed My Starving Children" is being sent out to Nambia, South Africa.

The food was packed two weeks ago in Decorah.  It is enough to feed 69 kids for an entire year.

Each individual meal serving costs just 24 cents, with the cost being paid by the local chapter.  The meals are then shipped to one of 69 foreign countries, with the shipping costs being paid by the country receiving the food.
