Veterans Affairs Commission donates wheelchair to Aase Haugen Homes

The Winneshiek County Veterans Affairs Commission has donated a brand new wheelchair to the Aase Haugen Homes.

Veterans Affairs Commission member John Christopherson handed over the new chair to Aase Haugen Homes Executive Director Sue Bjelland and Director of Development Don Wurtzel.

Christopherson noted that the Drive Cruiser III wheelchair is one of four new wheelchairs donated to area organizations this year by the Commission.

 The Winneshiek County Veterans Affairs Commission serves approximately 1,200 veterans in the county.
