NICC Calmar offering two plumbing classes

NICC Calmar is offering two classes on Tuesday, September 20th, to meet Plumbing and Mechanical Systems Board continuing education requirements.

The first class, "Water Distribution Code Update" (2 hours of plumbing code), will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.  A second class, "Drain, Waste and Vent Piping Systems" (4 hours of plumbing discipline) will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Both classes will be held in Room 115 of The Dairy Center, south of the Calmar campus.  

Participants may take one or both classes to fulfill their Continuing Education requirements for PMSB licensure. John Williams, a master plumber and Kirkwood Community College plumbing faculty member, will teach the classes. Students must bring a 2009 Uniform Plumbing Code book or purchase it at class time.
