Methodist Church Sister Parish program sponsoring 5K walk on Saturday

The Sister Parish program at Decorah Methodist Church is sponsoring a 5K walk at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

The walk is being called "Planting the Seed of Peace."  Check In / Registration begins at 10:00 a.m.  The course runs from the Methodist Church across the College Drive bridge to the first stop for prayer and reflection at Dunning Springs.  The Walk proceeds down Ice Cave Road along the Upper Iowa River across the bridge to the second stop for prayer and reflection at Wold Park.  The final leg follows South Avenue then up through downtown Decorah back to the church for lunch and fellowship.  $20 Registration fee ($10 for Students) includes lunch ticket for the Build Your Own Taco/Taco Salad Buffet serving from 11 – 1.  Suggested donation for the Buffet alone is $5 for adults and $3.00 for children.
