The Spectrum Network will host a display of work by local artists Chuck Humphrey-Klimesh and Rick Scheffert starting Thursday. The exhibit is titled "Paper & Clay: New Works." The works created on paper come from Humphrey-Klimesh, whose designs emphasize texture, color and contrast, The works created from clay come from Scheffert, who takes his inspiration from the natural world.
There will be an opening reception for both artists from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Thursday. The public is invited to meet the artists, view the show and enjoy light refreshments generously provided by Java John's Coffee House.
