Water Superintendent announces retirement plans

City of Decorah Water and Sewer Superintendent Dave Pahlas has announced plans to retire.

Pahlas says his last day on the job will be January 2nd, 2012.  He has worked for the city for 33 years.  Said Pahlas on Tuesday night, "It will be like leaving family after 33 years."
