Bald eagle chick "D1" is on the move again

One of three bald eagle chicks hatched at the eagle's nest near the Decorah Trout Hatchery has resumed her travels.

"D1" had spent 12 days at Yellow Lake in Wisconsin.  She has now flown northwest, into Minnesota.

Says Raptor Resource Project Director Bob Anderson, "This is so interesting to learn the dispersal movements of a Iowa fledged eagle."
