Decorah's Aaron Burmeister to join Luther faculty

A Decorah resident will become a member of the Luther College music faculty.  Aaron Burmeister will join the department as an adjunct music faculty.

Burmeister served as an associate instructor of music theory at the Indiana University School of Music from 1992-97, faculty at Pipe Organ Encounter summer camps in 1998 and 2002 and a professor of music at Bethany Lutheran College from 1997-2002.

Burmeister holds the bachelor of music degree from Lawrence University and the master's and doctoral degrees of music from the Indiana University School of Music.
