NICC to offer re-licensure classes for Plumbing and Mechanical Systems Board

NICC Calmar will offer two classes the same evening to meet re-licensure requirements for the Plumbing and Mechanical Systems Board (PMSB). Plumbers and mechanical professionals may choose a two-hour International Mechanical Code Update class from 3-5 p.m. and a four-hour HVAC Update from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday at room 115 of The Dairy Center, located immediately south of the Calmar campus.

The Iowa Department of Public Health now requires all plumbers and mechanical professionals to be licensed and to take Continuing Education courses in their field.  City of Dubuque inspector Tom Reed will be the instructor.
