Looking for something to do? How about "tanking?"

You say you don't have plans yet for the weekend.  Well, decorahnews.com wants to expand your possible options.

If you're bored with tubing or canoeing or kayaking down the Upper Iowa River, consider "tanking."

Folks who go "tanking" down the Upper Iowa River find an 8-foot' diameter livestock watering tank, put a plywood floor on the bottom, and then push it into the river.  Several readers have contacted us to recommend the Upper Iowa River in northwest Winneshiek County or even in Howard County because the river is deeper in these locations.

"Tankers" then sit around a card table inside the tank, playing cards while leisurely floating downstream.
