Luther College Dean of Student Life Ann Highum announces her retirement

Luther College Vice President and Dean for Student Life Ann Highum has announced her plans to retire at the end of the 2011-12 academic year.  

Highum's office is in charge of numerous programs at Luther, including the Career Center, Diversity Center, Student Activities and College Union, Student Health Service, Campus Recreational Sports and Intramural Programs, Counseling,  The Nena Amundson Lifetime Wellness Program, Residence Life, Safety and Security, Student Life Office, and Upward Bound.

Highum is the wife of Decorah City Administrator Jerry Freund, who is retiring from his job in September.
