Registration deadline is Thursday for NEIBH class

Thursday is the registration deadline for the program "Parenting with Heart" being offered by Northeast Iowa Behavioral Health (NEIBH) to assist parents and children in managing the symptoms and behaviors of ADHD.  

This four-session program will be offered at NEIBH on Thursday nights, September 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at their main office at 905 Montgomery Street, Decorah.

Preregistration is required.  Space is limited to the first 10 families that register.  To register, please call 563-382-3649 on or before September 1st.

"Though we will briefly discuss the use of medications to manage symptoms of ADHD, the focus of this program will be to help parents and youth with approaches and strategies that will decrease problem behaviors, reinforce positive behaviors, and strengthen the parent/child relationship", states Bill Deutsch, Behavioral Health Therapist and facilitator of the program.
