Wisconsin man ticketed in two car crash in Decorah

A 32-year-old Wausau, Wisconsin man has been ticketed following a Tuesday morning two-car crash on Highway 9 in Decorah.

Decorah Police say the accident occurred around 9:30 Tuesday morning.  68-year-old William Ashby of Clermont was attempting to turn into a driveway off Highway 9 when his car was struck by a truck driven by Christopher Poulos of Wausau.  Poulos told police his cell phone was ringing.  He looked at the cell phone--and when he looked up again, saw Ashby's car braking and turning.  Poulos braked, but struck Poulos' car from behind.

The accident caused $7,000 in damages.  Poulos was ticketed for failure to maintain control of his vehicle.
