Members of the 322nd Engineering Battalion have received ten more boxes of cookies from volunteers in Decorah.

The cookies will be delivered to soldiers working out on bases that have less amenities than at the company headquarters.

Decorah Boy Scouts Blake Taylor, Kaleb Michel and Alex Michels from Troop 66 helped bake 60 dozen cookies.  Another 60 to 70 dozen cookies were donated.  The 125 dozen cookies were packaged in 10 boxes and sent to Afghanistan a couple of weeks ago.  Members of the 322nd say the shipment has now arrived.

Decorah volunteers will gather again from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 17th.  Donated cookies will also be accepted during the same time.
