That would mean the unit would head back to the United States at the end of December.  The 322nd would spendabout 5-7 days at Fort Dix, New Jersey before making its wayback to Decorah.

SFC Justin Batton, 2nd Platoon's Platoon Sergeant. says the troops have appreciated all the letters and care packages the soldiers havereceived.  Says Batton, "It means a lot to us all knowing we are in your thoughts and prayers. It has been a long 6 months so far but that hasn't stopped the soldiers fromcompleting their job and staying motivated."

Concludes Batton, "We all can't wait to come homethis winter and settle back into our lives with those of you who are waitingfor our return, thank you for everything you do."
